Job Summary
Global Buyer responsible for Analytical Activities supporting the R&D department, implementing sourcing strategies, leading global RFIs/RFPs, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with key suppliers across all entities. Focus areas include delivering savings pipelines, benchmarking, supplier performance reviews, and applying procurement excellence tools (TCO, SRM, Market Intel, CSR, HSE, compliance). Works with internal customers to align procurement strategy with business objectives, leveraging cross-functional partnerships and data-driven insights to optimize spend in a global, multi-cultural environment. Requires a Master degree and 5+ years of procurement experience, with strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills, and English fluency. Location is Barcelona, Spain with hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Master degree from an accredited College or University
- 5+ years' experience in Procurement or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Negotiation and communication skills
- Experience with RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations
- Fluent in English
