Job Summary
Develop the five-year long-range plan for the SBU, refining demand forecasts, marketing strategies, and R&D projects while assessing industry trends and EHS risks. Lead the implementation of the annual operating plan, establish and monitor the global P&L, and advocate capital investment cases for facilities and operations. Manage the SBU acquisition plan with Corporate Development, oversee the R&D project portfolio and NPD stage gates, and direct the IP strategy. Serve as the SBU team leader for business continuity and security of supply, developing risk assessments and managing budgets. Assess business implications of EHS risks including REACH and global product registration. Requires a BS/BA degree and 10+ years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, manufacturing, or engineering. Afton Chemical Corporation is a global supplier of lubricant additives and fuel additives.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Business or science related field
- 10+ years relevant work experience
- Demonstrates understanding of Afton's business goals
- Solid understanding of P&L drivers
- Demonstrates knowledge of Afton's manufacturing assets and capabilities
- Thinks strategically – understands complex issues & has vision of the big picture
- Strong analytical and assessment skills
