Job Summary
The Global Business Development Manager will establish a global business strategy related to Toyota/Lexus’s EV strategies and analyze market trends to streamline collaborations with Toyota’s local entities and partners. Responsibilities include developing a global business strategy leveraging ongoing product development, creating and managing global collaborative initiatives, and maintaining relationships with stakeholders. Candidates should have 7-10 years of business development experience in the power industry, strong communication skills, and fluency in both Japanese and English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum of 7-10 years of practical experience in business development and project management in the power industry
- Experience in building business strategies involving more than 10 people
- Experience in collaboration with overseas companies and/or working for them
- Strong business communication skills with stakeholders
- Conversational-level proficiency in Japanese
- Business-level proficiency in English, with an understanding of how to navigate cross-border collaboration
Desired Qualifications
- Industry knowledge and awareness of technological trends in aggregation business and EV grid integration
- Insights into electric vehicles and charging infrastructure
- Experience in business management or financial model creation for subsidiary companies or similar entities
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in large size companies in Japan
