Job Summary
Identify, target, and secure new institutional client mandates for equity derivative products across Hong Kong and the broader APAC region. Serve as a trusted advisor to sophisticated clients, including hedge funds and asset managers, by delivering market intelligence and strategic execution ideas. Collaborate with global trading desks, structuring, and compliance teams to lead end-to-end client onboarding and coordinate with product teams to enhance electronic trading platforms based on feedback. This client-facing role requires a sophisticated understanding of global equity derivatives markets, volatility strategies, and structured equity solutions. Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese is highly preferred to facilitate regional client coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in institutional equity derivative sales, structured equity products, or equity prime brokerage
- Deep understanding of global equity derivatives markets, volatility trading, exchange rules, margin methodologies, and electronic execution platforms
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of presenting to C-suite executives and portfolio managers
- Established network of institutional clients (hedge funds, asset managers, real money, or family offices) in Hong Kong and the wider APAC region
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to discuss complex margin, capital efficiency, and portfolio optimization strategies
- Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese
- Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading floor environment
