Job Summary
Synthetics Risk Middle Office Associate will partner with product experts to review operational aspects of the trade flow, gain strong knowledge of risk control and commercial awareness, and ensure front-to-back operational flow supports seamless execution of trades and new business in equities-based swap derivatives. The role emphasizes analytical problem solving, process improvement opportunities, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (clients, trading desks, brokers, Sales, Engineering, and federation teams) to enable business and mitigate risk across the trade lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience in a Trade Processing team supporting an Equities business
- Understanding of Equity Derivative products, Cash Securities and Listed Derivatives
- Strong teamwork and collaboration across internal departments (EMEA and globally)
- Track record in developing client relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to understand business processes and work with Confirmations, Settlements, Trading and Sales desks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to provide succinct updates
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining risk standards
- Strong leadership skills; self-starter capable of managing competing deadlines and prioritization
