Job Summary
Conduct daily margin call analysis, risk processes, and communication with regional risk managers, including ad-hoc focus risk reporting. Perform portfolio risk analyses and deep dives using internally designed metrics while monitoring trades and control processes post-execution for timely escalation. Collaborate with cross-functional risk teams to manage counterparty exposures and test adequacy of in-house and regulatory margin methodologies. Contribute to product development and improve scalability of bespoke offerings through analytical support for new and existing risk methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in Prime Brokerage, capital markets, market risk, credit risk & underwriting, corporate finance or consulting
- Strong technical and quantitative capabilities
- Excellent analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of financial products (Equities, Credit, Convertible Bonds, Commodities, FX, Futures and Options)
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and team oriented
- Passion for solving large scale problems
- Excellent communication skills, written as well as verbal
- Ability to articulate and present to senior management
- Ability to multi-task across various projects under tight deadlines
- Experience / interest in software/ programming
