Job Summary
Monitor application health and perform first-line technical investigation of production alerts while navigating complex environments to analyze logs and resolve issues. Investigate and respond to technical queries from internal Trading and Sales teams and external clients, addressing concerns impacting client pricing or execution. Manage incident triage and crisis response for major production problems, coordinating escalation to development and infrastructure teams and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Support the delivery and ongoing management of vendor applications across front, middle, and back-office operations, ensuring continuous improvement after follow-ups.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or related field such as Business Administration
- Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or related field such as Business Administration
- Three (3) years of experience in job offered or related role OR five (5) years of experience in job offered or related role
- Prior experience must include three (3) years with Master's OR five (5) years with Bachelor's
- supporting applications within electronic trading environments
- experience with associated operational risks
- analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex trading and financial issues for traders and end-users in a fast-paced front-office environment
- managing trading applications to maximize system availability, stability, and risk mitigation
- working in a front-office trading or financial environment managing risk for millions of dollars
- running incident and Change Management processes for live and persistent production issues
- managing and delivering changes and enhancements to trading applications
- coordinating across teams and stakeholders
