Job Summary
Senior Associate, Trade Processing in New York, NY supporting middle office for Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC. Oversee operational aspects of structured financing transactions and communicate with internal/external clients. Work with trading and other internal stakeholders to execute new business and manage the existing portfolio of trades; mitigate risk by ensuring client activity is successfully managed post-trade. Subject Matter Expert in credit derivatives, loans, debt instruments, structured financing transactions, and related operational processes. Contribute to idea generation and implementation of quality solutions within the team to support new client and business activity and regulatory adherence. Provide Lifecycle Support and guidance to trading desks, sales teams, and clients; facilitate and negotiate with global teams; work with management to achieve industry-set and internal targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Political Science, Law, Finance, or a related field
- three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role
- experience with reviewing client account transactions accuracy and making manual adjustments in a client account ledger system
- experience monitoring and streamlining case management workflows to provide real-time updates to clients
- experience conducting Quality Assurance reviews by analyzing tax vendor audit reports to validate data integrity and assess report accuracy metrics
- experience defining system functionality and workflow requirements for engineering, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations
- experience using pre-deployment product testing, leveraging testing environment to identify and log bugs/issues and conduct data collection for resolutions with the engineering team
- experience using data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from financial data and communicate findings to management
- experience establishing KPIs to measure effectiveness of process improvements and monitoring performance over time
