Job Summary
Executive Director in Futures Sales leading originations and client relationships for institutional clients in APAC from Singapore. You will originate new mandates for futures execution and clearing, manage high-value accounts, collaborate with global trading desks, product, technology, compliance, and operations, onboard clients, provide market intelligence and regulatory updates, and work with Prime Brokerage, OTC Clearing, FICC, and Equities desks to deliver Goldman Sachs’ capabilities. Responsibilities include business development/origination for institutional clients, managing client relationships and understanding margin requirements, advising on market structure and regulatory updates (MAS, CFTC, EMIR), coordinating cross-functional teams for onboarding and risk mitigation, and contributing to product innovation in electronic trading platforms and post-trade clearing portals. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 7+ years in institutional futures sales/clearing/prime brokerage, MAS licensing eligibility, deep knowledge of futures markets, and strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in institutional futures sales, futures clearing, or prime brokerage
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain MAS Capital Markets Services license (trading in capital markets products)
- Deep understanding of global futures markets, exchange rules, margin methodologies (SPAN, VaR-based portfolio margining)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with track record of presenting to C-suite executives and portfolio managers
