Job Summary
Develop software applications for trading and corporate banking front, middle, and back-office functions while guiding products from conception to launch. Break down complex problems into executable roadmaps, execute delivery via agile methodologies, and manage the product backlog to ensure deadlines are met. Prioritize deliverables, oversee release planning including testing and communication, and incorporate user research and market analysis into product strategy. Collaborate cross-functionally to connect technical and business worlds, working with engineers on design feasibility and user acceptance testing.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
- One (1) year of experience in job offered or related role (with Master's degree)
- Three (3) years of experience in job offered or related role (with Bachelor's degree)
- Experience working across the entire product lifecycle, from initial analysis and requirements gathering with users, through design, development, Quality assurance (QA) testing and production release
- Experience working as a product manager or with a product manager to gather requirements and create user experiences
- Experience communicating and working with engineers to determine if a design can be modified based on its technical limitations
- Experience tracking changes as part of the project management cycle
- Experience presenting to technical and non-technical staff and communicating the rationale for design decisions
- Experience developing technical product roadmaps and communicating to stakeholders
- Experience guiding user acceptance testing and scoping test automation for engineers to write unit and regression tests using testing frameworks including JIRA or Confluence
