Job Summary
Lead and manage the GB Finance Analytics team to deliver business and financial analytics for Global Banking and its segments, developing, maintaining, and presenting financial models and analyses; partner with senior leaders to provide insights on business trends and performance; drive process simplification and automation of analytics; prepare materials for senior management meetings, quarterly reviews, and budgets; support ad-hoc projects and collaborate across Business Management and Analytics teams to drive actionable dialogue; oversee reporting and continuous improvement initiatives, including leadership of a team and fostering a culture of collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting or corporate finance with at least 5 years of experience
- Understanding of Bank balance sheet and P&L
- Experience in corporate financial analytics
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving and project management skills with a proven track record of execution
- Excellent oral & written communication and relationship management skills
- Strong technical and analytical skills, including Excel, PowerPoint
- Organized and detail-oriented with ability to synthesize large amounts of data
- Strong work ethic; ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Proactive with a sense of urgency; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Self-starter; initiative to drive improvements
- Ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues
- Preferred: management consulting, corporate finance, or accounting experience; Essbase; advanced data visualization; experience leading teams; cross-functional collaboration; automation experience; Investor Day or industry conference presentation experience
