Job Summary
Global Banking Data Hub Product Owner (VP) leads backlog and platform-team collaboration to deliver a unified, cloud-enabled banking platform with 19 data products for reporting, analytics, and AI/ML use cases. Drives sprint planning, capacity tracking, UAT support, change-management reporting, and alignment of data governance, metadata, and security requirements with cross-functional teams, leveraging technologies like DBx, Snowflake, Starburst to enable streamlined data federation and integrated data management. Collaborates with agile teams to ensure compliant, scalable, and efficient technology solutions that deliver business objectives such as a single source of truth and enhanced client experience.
Required Qualifications
- Agile Experience: Experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an Agile environment
- JIRA Skills: Familiarity with JIRA and backlog management
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and platform technology teams
- Data Platform Awareness: Some experience or interest in data management, analytics, and cloud technologies (e.g., DBx, Snowflake, Starburst)
- Data Governance: Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management concepts
- Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills
- Problem Solving: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Security & Compliance: Awareness of handling confidential and restricted data elements inline with business and regulatory requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
