Job Summary
Lead and manage audit engagements for clients, directing a team of audit professionals from planning through conclusion; serve as primary client contact, deliver strategic insights to improve financial processes and reporting, and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and firm standards. Develop comprehensive audit strategies with partners and directors, allocate resources, supervise staff, review workpapers, and provide technical guidance on complex accounting and auditing issues. Stay current with accounting standards and regulatory changes; contribute to business development through client proposals and presentations, while coaching and mentoring team members to foster professional growth and maintain high-quality audit deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 5–8 years of relevant audit experience
- CPA license is required; equivalent certifications are required for IT audit
- Progressive leadership responsibilities in CPA firm
- Responsible for completing minimum CPE credit requirement
- Specific positions may require additional industry or specialization certifications
