Job Summary
Lead the cross-functional Global Asset Team to build and execute an integrated strategy spanning development, manufacturing, regulatory, market access, and commercial activities from early discovery through patent expiry. Own the overall program vision, establish project goals, and translate strategy into a high-level roadmap to maximize asset value and accelerate delivery. Drive operational excellence by coordinating development, registration, launch, and lifecycle management initiatives while maintaining visibility and credibility among internal and external stakeholders. Serve as the asset's ultimate ambassador to functional and executive leadership, representing interests in governance committees and shaping the competitive landscape for rare disease medicines. Partner with senior executives to define resource requirements for the five-year plan, ensure comprehensive risk mitigation, and mobilize capabilities across a complex global matrix.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Medical or Life Sciences, such as MD, PhD and/or MBA
- Minimum 5 years of global project leadership experience within biotechnology or pharmaceutical environments
- Demonstrated success leading complex global matrix teams and influencing without formal authority
- Experience across multiple functions involved in successful asset development and commercialization, including Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, Safety, Medical Affairs, and Project Management
Desired Qualifications
- For physician candidates, board certification in Oncology, Hematology or rare diseases is highly valued
- Deep understanding of Rare Diseases and the competitive landscape, with strong external scientific networks highly advantageous
