Job Summary
Global Alliance Lead responsible for owning and executing the Microsoft alliance end-to-end, including executive engagement with Fabric, Azure, and field leadership; defining multi-year joint strategy to position dbt and Fivetran as the default analytics engineering layer within Microsoft’s data ecosystem; representing dbt and Fivetran in internal forums, customer briefings, and industry events; driving product integration and platform alignment with Microsoft reference architectures; building a structured enablement program for Microsoft field teams and developing joint go-to-market campaigns; owning the co-sell playbook end-to-end, account mapping, and joint selling motions; driving pipeline and commercial execution with a focus on Microsoft-sourced revenue and Azure marketplace activities; establishing and tracking a global operating model with regular cadences, named stakeholders, and governance to ensure ongoing alliance health and revenue contribution.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, enterprise sales, or partner management within the data, cloud, or enterprise software industry
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, global relationships with major technology organizations at a senior level
- Strong commercial instincts and ability to identify and qualify joint pipeline opportunities
- Experience operating as a cross-functional orchestrator across sales, engineering, marketing, and operations
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills for enterprise audiences
- Willingness to travel globally to engage partner leadership and teams across regions
