Job Summary
Air Operations role responsible for day-to-day administration and delivery of the global air program, including air reservations, ticketing, schedule changes, and handling airline disruptions. Acts as SME for Sales and internal teams on air program policies, collaborates with Turnaround Operations to coordinate ancillary travel services (hotels, transfers, ground arrangements), analyzes complex domestic/international itineraries to identify optimal routing and pricing, ensures policy compliance and cost effectiveness, and assists with ARC ticket reconciliation and air travel procedures. Requires an Associates degree or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years in a related role, with strong knowledge of Amadeus GDS (or similar), airline policies, and MS Office suite; emphasizes attention to detail, communication, and cross-functional teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent background in travel industry
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in Amadeus GDS (or similar)
- Familiarity with airline policies, procedures, and contract pricing (a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of geography and ability to construct complex itineraries
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with cross-functional collaboration
- Travel industry knowledge and analytical skills
