Job Summary
Load service vehicles with parts, review daily run sheets, and assist technicians in repairing exterior doors and PVC windows. Perform re-glazing, set up scaffolding, and clean job sites after completion. Ensure customer satisfaction, update digital apps with daily job notes, and follow SOPs and health and safety regulations while wearing required protective equipment. Requires a valid Class 5 driver's license, 1+ years in construction or window/door repair, and comfort working at varying heights. Daily travel between office and job sites is required, with occasional overnight stays for out-of-town assignments.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years' experience in construction, repairs and installation of windows and doors
- Experience in handling glass
- Knowledge of windows and doors, parts and terminology
- Experience in using hand tools
- Knowledge of safe work practices
- Working knowledge of both metric and imperial measurements
- Valid Class 5 driver license
- Communication effectively in English both verbal and written
- High comfort level working in a fast-paced team environment that is constantly changing
- Pressure to produce tangible results and complete projects within tight timelines
- Troubleshooting abilities to analyze problem and provide solutions
- Ability to prioritize your daily work and organize yourself to meet multiple deadlines and meet customer needs
- High school diploma or GED
- Lifting and/or carrying anywhere from 0 lbs to 50 lbs
- Comfortable to Work at variety of heights from a ladder, manlift or scaffolding
- Standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching for extended periods
- Opportunity for overtime on short notice due to operational needs
- Some overnight stay required for out-of-town jobs
