Job Summary

Inspect incoming IGUs for defects and verify specifications, then report and quarantine defective units. Safely operate a forklift and overhead vacuum lift while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area using 5S principles. Use measuring tools like tape measures and digital calipers to ensure accuracy. This role supports manufacturing Cascadia's award-winning windows and doors in a factory in Gloucester Estates, Langley. Morning shift hours run from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working in a manufacturing organization
  • Experience working with manufacturing tools & equipment
  • Experience using manufacturing tools and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and good eyesight
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Experience using measuring tools (tape measure and digital caliper)
  • Basic computer and smartphone skills
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Reliable transportation required (no transit service available to Gloucester Estates)
  • Safety footwear required
  • Must have reliable transportation, as transit service is not available to the Gloucester Estates area
  • Safety footwear is required

Desired Qualifications

  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Willingness to learn IGU products and inspection standards
