Job Summary
The Glass Handler is responsible for wearing required safety gear, operating equipment in the breakout area, handling glass safely, maintaining a clean work environment, and performing equipment checks prior to shift start. The role requires teamwork, integrity, and a positive attitude while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, prior manufacturing experience, and mechanical inclination, along with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct, exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times
- Ability to exercise good judgement in decision making, ideas, and all aspects relating to the PLANT team, Cardinal and other company relationships

- Basic computer and organizational skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to communicate and work well with others in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to operate motorized equipment
