Job Summary
Manage thousands of visitors at the UK's largest Halloween event by scanning tickets, directing customers, and serving at bars and retail outlets. Perform general event setup and breakdown, assist with customer enquiries, and flag issues to supervisors while maintaining housekeeping standards. Ensure guests have an unforgettable experience through proactive engagement and going above and beyond, even in unpredictable Scottish weather. Commit to a minimum of 10 shifts between 12noon and 11pm, with training provided on designated dates.
Required Qualifications
- Available to start your shift from 4pm
- Experienced in outdoor or large events
- Experienced in customer service
- A student, particularly in the events, creative arts or hospitality sectors
- Currently working in the creative industry
- Hardy and happy to work outside
- Friendly, fun, and outgoing with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Sensible, practical, and level-headed
- Passionate about great customer service
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Happy to wear a costume
- Adaptable and flexible to changes that need to be made on-site
- Reliable, hardworking and honest
- Commit to a minimum of 10 shifts across the run
- Available for the preview evening
- Available for all of the training dates
