Job Summary
GL Staff Accountant responsible for general ledger transactions and supporting reconciliations, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely close. Performs analysis on monthly fluctuations and variance, supports annual financial audits, maintains ledger files, and assists with policy/process improvements. Requires a BS in Accounting, 1-3 years of general ledger accounting experience, knowledge of GAAP and internal controls, strong to advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with NetSuite preferred. Denver-based role with in-person work. Focuses on accurate financial reporting, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Accounting
- 1-3 years of general ledger accounting experience
- Knowledge of GAAP, internal control and quality control concepts
- Strong to advanced Excel skills
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred
