GL & Reporting Accountant

Job Summary
Execute accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities while managing bank reconciliations, capitalization, and depreciation processes. Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for interim and year-end financial statement audits. Identify and resolve aged outstanding balances to ensure balance sheet integrity and compliance with accounting standards. Participate in finance transformation projects and support internal control framework design and risk assessments. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 1-4 years of experience in General Ledger or Record-to-Report, and advanced SAP ERP skills. Located in a fast-paced environment requiring strong time management and analytical abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-4 years of experience in General Ledger, Financial Reporting, or Record-to-Report (R2R) accounting
- Hands-on experience with fixed assets accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles
- Advanced SAP ERP experience, preferably in FI and Asset Accounting modules
- Strong Excel skills
- Understanding of internal controls and risk management frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in FMCG organizations is preferred
