GL Accountant

Job Summary
Oversee general ledger functions, perform account reconciliations, and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual flux analysis, consolidations, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency accounting. Partner with the US Accounting Manager to ensure complete international accounting, support AP processes by reviewing and processing supplier invoices, and assist with audits while ensuring GAAP compliance. Requires 4-6 years of GL experience, US GAAP knowledge, and Netsuite proficiency. Hybrid remote in Manila, Philippines, 8am-5pm PST.
Required Qualifications
- English Resume Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years of GL Accounting experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- CPA preferred but not required
- Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively organize and present information and respond to questions
- Experience in analyzing large transactional volumes, preparing trend analysis, and resolving variance issues
- Independent thinker and problem solver with ability to present solutions
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks appropriately, and handle multiple responsibilities at once
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with Netsuite or equivalent required
- Advanced excel skills
- Location - Hybrid remote in Manilla, Philippines
- 8am - 5pm PST schedule
