GL Accountant (Navodari)

Job Summary
GL Accountant for Navodari responsible for general ledger operations and support for allocated companies. Analyzes balance accounts to ensure data accuracy, records salary accounting notes and payroll-related entries, handles hedging-related accounting notes, interfaces with fiscal authorities, and supports preparation of annual and half-yearly financial statements. Performs monthly P&L and balance sheet analysis, closes income and expense accounts, records adjustments, handles month-end close, analyzes non-billed invoices, and supports project-related accounting changes and IT-system testing for new developments. Collects, analyzes and reports financial and tax data to enhance information quality and decision making; supports inventory processes per statutory requirements. Proficiency in IFRS/local GAAP, SAP experience, strong Excel skills, and English proficiency are required; CECCAR certification is an advantage.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Economics
- Over 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, including solid experience in General Ledger and in a similar role, preferably within an international or corporate environment
- Strong expertise in financial accounting and reporting (IFRS and/or local GAAP)
- Proven experience with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes
- Professional accounting certification (CECCAR) is considered an advantage
- English – conversational level (spoken and written)
- Advanced MS Excel skills and good command of MS Word
- Hands-on experience with SAP is considered an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, high accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
