GL Accountant

Job Summary
Perform month-end close duties and reporting including recording of accurate journal entries. Conduct monthly balance sheet account reviews and reconciliations to ensure ledger maintenance. Analyze financial reports and records for discrepancies. Assist with management of cash flow forecasting including daily oversight of bank activity and preparation of bank reconciliations. Coordinate Inter- and Intracompany reconciliations and reporting. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Assist with various ad-hoc reporting and projects as needed. Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years general accounting experience
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to successfully handle multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience utilizing SAP accounting software a plus
