GL Accountant

Job Summary
GL Accountant responsible for RTR EMEA tasks within Financial Shared Services, ensuring balance sheet reconciliation and GL accounts analysis, accounting for accruals and provisions and wages & salary related accounts, fixed asset accounting, and participation in monthly/quarterly/yearly closing. Role includes contact with partner departments (AP, AR, PAYMENTS) and local colleagues across countries, data provisioning for auditors/statistical offices, and collaboration on process improvements. Requires university-level finance/accounting degree or Chartered Accountant certification, intermediate English, independent work capability, minimum 3 years in accounting, and ERP familiarity (SAP/JDE) with strong Excel skills; SSC experience is advantageous. There is potential for working from home up to 3 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- University or College degree in Finance/Accounting or Certified Chartered Accountant
- Min 3 years relevant experience in Accounting and bookkeeping
- Familiarity with SAP or JDE (ERP systems)
- Strong Excel knowledge
- English proficiency (Intermediate)
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/JDE) preferred
- SSC experience welcome
