Job Summary
Greenville ISD seeks a dedicated 5th Grade Math Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction aligned with TEKS and TEA requirements. Responsibilities include planning and delivering mathematics instruction, developing lesson plans, assessing student progress with formative and summative measures, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learners, and maintaining an inclusive, structured classroom. The role involves collaboration with colleagues, regular communication with families, and participation in professional development, PLCs, and district activities. The teacher will support student academic, social, emotional development and use district curriculum to promote growth and mastery of grade-level standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate grade-level and/or content endorsement
- Must meet all TEA certification and assignment requirements
