Job Summary

Input designs into Esri or client-specific GIS systems adhering to feature classes and attribution standards. Create connectivity using splicing documentation and post as-built plant records based on construction reports and redline drawings. Perform in-depth GIS analysis using various source files and designs while validating daily work received from the field to guarantee accuracy of in-house and subcontractor deliverables. Draw and update status polygons as required by project scope and communicate with permit coordinators and design leads to keep project trackers current. Submit timesheets daily with appropriate time coding and collaborate with internal teams to overcome obstacles preventing timely delivery of quality products.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18 or older
  • Must be proficient in Esri software
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks assigned in a timely manner
  • Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check

Desired Qualifications

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
  • Proficient in Python Scripting
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related degree
  • Two years of experience in telecommunication, OSP, or with a public or private utility
