Job Summary
Manage and maintain spatial data systems by performing data entry, updates, and QA/QC in GIS databases. Create maps and exhibits to support land acquisition and project updates, combining data from multiple sources for cartographic products and feasibility maps. Assist senior GIS Analysts in larger project initiatives while attending training to develop proficiency in GIS tools and standards. This entry-level role requires familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS software and basic geoprocessing skills, with a preference for candidates who understand metadata and QA/QC processes.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS software, including ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro
- Basic geoprocessing and cartographic skills
- Understanding of metadata and QA/QC processes
- Proficient in data visualization and map production
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Strong organizational and workload management skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Adaptable and able to work under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with enterprise GIS databases a plus
- Exposure to ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal or ArcServer preferred
