Job Summary

GIS Consultant/Analyst role applying Geographic Information Systems to support a diverse range of projects, using Esri technology stack (mobile, desktop, web) and ETL tools such as FME. Responsibilities include sourcing, managing and creating geospatial data, visualising and analysing spatial information for decision-making, contributing to geospatial workflow improvements, and collaborating with GIS leads and project teams. Preferred experience includes UK environmental programs (infrastructure, wind, solar, environmental permits) and familiarity with field data tools (Survey123, Field Maps). The role involves data development/integration with GIS, CAD/BIM workflows, field data capture, QA/QC of field data, and maintaining metadata and documentation. May assist in basic scripting under senior staff guidance.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in GIS, Geography, or a related technical field
  • Typically 3+ years of professional GIS experience with a BA/BS (or 4+ years with AA/AS)
  • Proficiency in the ArcGIS Pro suite and foundational knowledge of ArcGIS Online/Enterprise
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support the creation of actionable technical plans
  • Proficiency in English, verbal and written, with emphasis on technical GIS communication
