Job Summary
Lead a team of GIS analysts and technicians, serving as a strategic liaison between GIS and engineering, development, and environmental permitting teams to optimize geospatial workflows. Drive GIS data governance standards, metadata protocols, and quality control while evaluating new geospatial technologies. Collaborate with stakeholders to define geospatial requirements for scopes of work and deliverables, and communicate complex geospatial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Help integrate GIS tools into engineering workflows to reduce errors, centralize data, and support project planning and stakeholder engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, geography, or a related field
- 7+ years of professional experience in similar positions
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects
- Strong understanding of data management and governance
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with ESRI products (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online / ArcGIS Enterprise)
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future
