GIS I&C Team Lead

Job Summary
Lead GIS Installation and commissioning team; provide technical advice to customers including commissioning, installing, and testing of GIS products; identify and correct complex startup issues; research, evaluate, and recommend new GIS products or upgrades; develop ongoing customer relationships to secure future business; manage daily site activity and ensure expert, on-time execution of orders for assembly, malfunctions, preventive maintenance, and commissioning; participate in site meetings; ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate reporting; coach and monitor GIS supervisors, maintain competency matrices, and optimize team utilization; coordinate with PMs and site installation supervisors to align capacity with project requirements; promote efficiency and effectiveness of the GIS team through regular site visits and accurate reflection of man-hours in project reports; demonstrate and uphold Hitachi Energy’s safety and integrity values while delivering high-quality field service execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- GIS certification is a must
- 8+ years of GIS experience
- Strong knowledge with SF6 GAS-Handling
- PGHV Transmission and Sub transmission GIS Product knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Project
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
