GIS Data Maintenance and Application Support – Rockville, MD

Maintain and validate GIS datasets through editing, quality assurance, and standardization for public safety operations. Update web maps, feature services, and GIS applications while performing testing following software updates or configuration changes. Assist with data cleanup, documentation, and special projects as assigned to support the Department's GIS infrastructure. Deliver accurate dataset updates, completed QA/QC, and updated web maps. Report directly to the Police GIS Manager (IT Supervisor) and work alongside County GIS staff to document procedures for knowledge transfer.
