Job Summary
Edit, maintain, and update GIS geodatabases to ensure data accuracy and integrity while creating and managing GIS datasets and mapping products. Perform quality control and validation of spatial data, troubleshoot data issues, and recommend process improvements. Respond to ad hoc GIS requests, generate maps and reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to collect and organize geospatial information. This role focuses heavily on editing and maintaining GIS geodatabases within an enterprise environment, with a preference for experience supporting utility infrastructure and Esri Utility Network environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3-5 years of professional GIS Analyst experience
- Strong experience editing and maintaining GIS geodatabases
- Hands-on experience with Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro and related tools
- Experience creating and managing GIS data and mapping products
- Strong understanding of geospatial data management principles
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Utility Network experience
- Utility industry experience, including electric, gas, water, wastewater, or telecommunications infrastructure
- Experience supporting enterprise GIS environments
- Knowledge of spatial analysis and GIS best practices
