GIS Analyst – Photogrammetrist

Job Summary
Process airborne, terrestrial, and mobile imagery to generate survey-grade mapping datasets, including aerial triangulation, stereo compilation, and DEM/DTM creation. Execute QA/QC and accuracy validation for deliverables meeting DOT and engineering standards. Integrate mobile LiDAR with traditional photogrammetry to support feature extraction, alignment, and Digital Twin asset inventories. Troubleshoot workflow challenges and assist in developing standardized production pipelines. Collaborate with GIS and asset management teams to enable downstream data use. Based onsite in Dulles, VA with under 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, GIS, Geography or related field
- 3+ years of professional experience in photogrammetric production of DOT and design grade mapping datasets
- Strong understanding of planimetric and digital terrain modeling techniques
- Strong understanding of surveying and mapping principles and accuracy standards
- Team leadership or mentoring experience
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- ASPRS Certified Photogrammetrist (or pursuing)
- Mobile LiDAR or Digital Twin program experience
- Aerial LiDAR classification and creation of 3D surface datasets for DOT and Surveying clients
