Job Summary
Lead parcel-level site screening and constraint analysis to support BESS development across target states. Administer ArcGIS Online by managing users, hosted layers, web maps, dashboards, and data pipelines while maintaining production-ready content. Build and maintain siting notebooks and Python-based geospatial scripts, integrating vendor data into Lightshift's GIS platform and managing vendor relationships. Produce maps and spatial exports for commercial, development, and leadership presentations. Coordinate annual vendor contract renewals, update recurring datasets, and monitor industry developments to enhance analytics toolsets. This role works closely with development, origination, and data engineering to support project siting and strategic analyses across multiple states and organized power markets.
Required Qualifications
- Lead parcel-level site screening and constraint analysis to support BESS development across target states
- Administer ArcGIS Online (AGOL) — manage users, hosted layers, web maps, dashboards, and data pipelines
- Build and maintain siting notebooks and Python-based geospatial scripts
- Integrate data from vendors into Lightshift's GIS platform
- Manage vendor relationships
- Maintain the multi-state GIS data library and state-specific project data in SharePoint and GitHub
- Coordinate annual vendor contract renewals
- Update recurring datasets on a regular cadence
- Monitor new developments across the GIS and energy industries
- Conceptualize and execute enhanced analytic approaches and strategic initiatives to improve company siting, strategy, and competitive advantage
