Job Summary
GIS Analyst responsible for collecting, interpreting, and integrating data from maps, databases, graphs, satellite/aerial imagery and geologic conditions; performing spatial analysis using relational databases; creating accurate GIS cartographic products to support utility operations; coordinating with internal/external customers, producing exhibits, and managing multiple projects; serving as liaison in meetings with entities and industry groups; addressing data requests and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations; strong emphasis on GIS principles, mapping, and analytical tool usage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school
- 3-5 years of related experience OR 7 years with no bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated knowledge of GIS principles, automated drafting and mapping, relational database design, and analytical tools
