Job Summary
Local full-time GIS Analyst in Norman, OK, specializing in creating and maintaining GIS data and maps using ArcGIS to support energy land projects. Responsibilities include building shapefiles/geodatabases, routing/site maps for pipelines and energy facilities, developing prospecting and status maps, creating interactive web maps with ArcGIS Experience Builder, plotting deeds and easement boundaries from legal documents, converting raw data into readable formats, and researching various data sources to keep maps up-to-date. Requires at least 1 year of GIS experience with ESRI ArcGIS proficiency and strong collaboration with clients, land technicians, agents, supervisors, and project managers. Knowledge of ArcGIS desktop and web applications to organize and present data is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year GIS experience
- Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS preferred
- Experience creating and maintaining GIS data (shapefiles, geodatabases)
- Ability to create routing/site maps for pipelines and energy facilities
- Experience building interactive web maps and applications (ArcGIS Experience Builder)
- Experience plotting deeds and easements from legal documents
- Proven ability to convert raw data into readable formats
- Strong data research skills (county/state/national sources)
- Excellent communication with clients and project teams
- Knowledge of ArcGIS desktop and web applications for maps and data organization
