Job Summary

Prospect, develop, and implement location strategies for organizations while maintaining a healthy pipeline of business growth opportunities. Leverage social media and trade shows to build professional networks and present at industry seminars. Demonstrate deep industry knowledge of Commercial Forestry to identify key stakeholders, understand budgeting processes, and articulate the value of Esri technology in solving customer challenges. Execute account management and sales processes using visual storytelling techniques to propose tailored solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define account strategies and resolve issues resourcefully. Requires 2+ years of enterprise sales experience, ability to travel 25-50%, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS or related fields. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience
  • Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers
  • Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Commercial Forestry and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers
  • Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, forestry, forest management, natural resource management, or a related field
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and commercial forestry as they relate to one another
  • Experience managing the sales life cycle
  • General knowledge of data science or spatial analysis and how it is used for problem solving and uncovering patterns and trends within organizations
  • Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
  • Master's degree in GIS, business administration, forestry, forest management, natural resource management, or a related field
