Job Summary
Girls Water Polo Coach at Concord High School focusing on athletics coaching standards. Required Qualifications
- CPR card or higher level CPR certification
- valid EMT I or II card or equivalent
- first aid card or sports injury certificate
- college-level course in care and prevention of athletic injuries or equivalent training
- valid CPR and emergency procedures knowledge
- coaching theory and techniques course or equivalent training
- in-service programs or prior coaching experience in the sport
- prior participation in organized athletics or coaching at high school level or above
- knowledge of rules and regulations of the sport and related leagues (NCS, CIF)
- child/adolescent psychology knowledge related to sports participation (courses or workshops)
- fingerprint clearance prior to coaching duties
- verification of freedom from contagious diseases by a licensed physician
- Code of Ethical Conduct adherence for interscholastic athletic programs
