Job Summary
Girls Volleyball Coach opportunities at Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus (Makawao, Hawaii) for two seasonal positions: Head Coach, JV Girls Volleyball ($4,578 stipend) and Head Coach, Intermediate Girls Volleyball ($3,270 stipend) for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsible for coordinating or assisting with coordination of the athletics program, coaching and instructing players, developing individual and team skills, planning practices and games, ensuring student-athlete eligibility, and maintaining ethical and professional conduct. Requires knowledge of sport rules and regulations, ability to motivate athletes, promote sportsmanship, communicate effectively with athletes, parents, faculty, administrators, and the community, and manage administrative duties and equipment. Travel to various locations and schedule may include evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience in coaching
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously
- Previous coaching experience
- Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends on a frequent basis
