Girls' Volleyball Athletic Coach

Job Summary
Conduct individual skills instruction for girls' volleyball, manage athlete behavior during practices and meets, and oversee facility safety. Plan and schedule regular practice programs in accordance with district policy and AIA regulations. Maintain complete records including attendance forms, insurance records, and accident reports. Enforce discipline and sportsmanship, establish penalties for breaches, and recommend equipment purchases. Prepare fields or courts, provide team rosters, and submit end-of-year inventory to the athletic director. Perform other tasks as assigned by the School Board or Administration while maintaining satisfactory attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Expressed interest in athletics
- Experience in coaching
- Physical ability to perform essential functions
- Available to work during assigned hours
- Understanding of and agreement with the District's goals of an athletic program
- Knowledge of coaching techniques and human behavior
- Possess knowledge of the State, Federal and School Board Policies and Regulations regarding student conduct and appropriate disciplinary action
- Familiar with the care and treatment of athletic injuries
- All High School Head Athletic Coaches must be certified by the Arizona Department of Education
- Coaches must complete NFHS Coaches Course including Concussion Course
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Valid Driver Licence
- 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
