Job Summary
The Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach role involves educating student-athletes through interscholastic competition and overseeing the team culture, coaching philosophy, and execution of practices and contests. Responsibilities include establishing fundamental coaching philosophy and techniques, managing athletic activities and ensuring safety per injury procedures, protecting equipment and facilities, supporting participation in other school activities, and developing a community program that connects with middle school and youth programs. Preferred qualifications include prior high school varsity or JV coaching experience, CPR/First Aid Certification, NFHS Certification, knowledge of coaching techniques and NHIAA rules, ability to instruct, lead and supervise student-athletes, and strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. The position is seasonal, part-time, and paid by a stipend; benefits are not included. The selection process involves initial phone and in-person interviews.
