Job Summary
Coach shall instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training for golf, while developing and maintaining a Girls Varsity Golf program. Responsibilities include building a cohesive program, developing staff, fostering character and leadership, and maintaining positive relationships with the local community, parents, and school staff. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and transformational coaching, requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and mandates a valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or equivalent). Assignment dates are March 22 to June 16, 2027, with compensation based on the Teacher's Contract Schedule C (27 base points or $3,915 base contract rate).
Required Qualifications
- Dynamic, highly qualified candidate with successful high school and/or collegiate level head coaching experience
- Experience building a comprehensive program, developing staff, and managing program-wide elements in alignment with school mission
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community
- Proven ability to teach and model character and responsible behavior
- Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) required
