Job Summary
Instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize individual and team success. Coach the Girls Swim and Dive program with an emphasis on character development, positive relationships with parents, staff, and community, and continuous program improvement. Role includes developing and sustaining a comprehensive program, mentoring staff, and collaborating with athletic leadership to align with school mission and vision. Reports to the Head Varsity Sport coach and Athletics/Activities Director; requires coaching certification and demonstrated experience at high school and/or collegiate levels, with strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications)
- successful high school and/or collegiate level head coaching experience
- ability to build a comprehensive program, develop staff, and manage program-wide elements
- strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- commitment to develop positive relationships with the community
