Job Summary
Direct all phases of the girls' swimming athletic program, including daily practice supervision, team management, and compliance with WIAA rules and district policies. Coordinate out-of-season camps and clinics as needed. Maintain coaching eligibility by attending required district and WIAA trainings, including concussion management protocols. Obtain or hold a Type 2 coaching license and meet all Washington Interscholastic Activities Association requirements. Complete fingerprint screening as a condition of employment. Hold a high school diploma; a teaching certificate, bachelor's degree, or prior high school/coaching experience is preferred. Apply by August 6, 2026, at 4:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Type 2 license or willingness to obtain
- Must meet WIAA coaching requirements
- Follow all WIAA and/or district rules, policies and guidelines
- High School Diploma, required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attend District training regarding concussion management
- Attend other district and/or WIAA trainings required to maintain coaching eligiblity
Desired Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Previous coaching experience at high school or collegiate level
