Job Summary
Lead and develop the Cape Henlopen High School Girls Soccer program, organizing and implementing game and practice plans to foster a positive and competitive environment. Responsibilities include team leadership and development, game strategy and planning, player evaluation and feedback, travel coordination with the Athletic Department, ensuring compliance with DIAA rules, and fostering a positive, inclusive team culture. The role requires strong communication with players, families, coaching staff, and the community, plus ongoing professional development and adherence to district policies and safety trainings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: high school diploma or GED
- Advanced education above high school preferred
- Must complete training regarding Title IX and Athletics
- Must complete CPR and Concussion Training every two years
- Criminal Background Check, DE Child Protection Registry, and TB test required for all new employees
- Must have knowledge of DIAA rules and regulations
