Model behaviors from the Coaches Code of Ethics and maintain full control of the team regarding coaching and athletic discipline. Implement department policies, stay informed on rule changes, and develop organized daily practice plans with warm-up and cool-down procedures. Attend every practice session and contest, ensuring facilities and equipment are safe while teaching safety protocols. Execute game plans, manage on-field duties, and process medical and eligibility forms. Directly supervise squad members at home and away contests, oversee bus transportation, and work with community members involved in youth sports. Maintain First Aid/CPR certification and MIAA/NFHS coaching certification.
