Job Summary
Support the coordination and supervision of the Girls Junior Varsity Tennis program by ensuring league policies are followed and developing appropriate training schedules. Plan and organize practices and games while maintaining a safe environment for student athletes at home and away locations. Supervise student athletes during conditioning and locker room activities, ensuring they adhere to training rules and behavior standards. Interact professionally with students, parents, and officials to resolve conflicts and represent the school in the community. Manage athletic equipment inventory, make purchase recommendations, and maintain necessary records and certifications. This part-time seasonal role requires travel, weekend, and evening work.
Required Qualifications
- CPR Certified through American Red Cross
- valid driver's license
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- One to two years of experience as a tennis coach
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

- Experience working and communicating with diverse groups of people

- Must be able to lift 100 pounds of force occasionally

- Must be able to carry training kit and coolers for long distances
- Must be available for travel
- Must be available for work on weekends and evenings
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, English major preferred
