Job Summary
The Girls Golf Coach at GMS is responsible for coaching student athletes to improve their skills and teamwork, promoting academic success, and coordinating practice schedules. The coach must uphold board policies, manage student conduct, and effectively communicate with students and parents. Responsibilities include organizing team tryouts, monitoring the health and safety of participants, maintaining accurate records, and participating in required school activities. Successful candidates will have relevant coaching experience, complete state supervisory permit requirements, and maintain a record suitable for public school employment.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant coaching experience
- Knowledgeable about interscholastic athletic program regulations
- Completion of state activity supervisory permit requirements (e.g., first aid/CPR, etc.)
- Meets all mandated health requirements
- A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment
